History

 

PELLEGRINI MARINE EQUIPMENT was originally founded in 1964 as part of the Pellegrini Group, a world leader in marble cutting and machining and very soon created a strong reputation for the design and manufacture of its quality marine lifting and deck equipment.

 

Pellegrini's name became firmly established with Italian shipyards/owners and the Italian navy for the supply of its range of high performance marine equipment, such as CRANES, WINCHES, CAPSTANS, DAVITS and all types of hoisting machinery.

 

Over the years, Pellegrini Marine Equipment has become increasingly involved in the innovative manufacture of equipment for tankers, gas carriers, military and container vessels, cruise ships, offshore platforms and other specialist needs.

 

Today, Pellegrini has an annual turnover of about $9.1 million, employing over 50 people. It is market leader in the design, manufacture and delivery of many types of hoist-related products serving a wide range of lifting specialities. This impressive spectrum covers from offshore cranes to capstans, from winches to lifeboat davits and includes special appliances for worldwide navies such as radar cross section louvers and bay doors.
